Sheridan Smith’s jewelry was stolen from his trailer during a raid on the set of his new sitcom.

The 40-year-old actress is said to be “very upset” after all of her jewelery – including bracelets, rings and necklaces – was ripped from her trailer.

The gang allegedly stole thousands of pounds worth of bling during the robbery.

Former Gavin & Stacey actress Sheridan has reportedly been the target of a gang of thieves dubbed the Movie Takers – who have carried out massive raids on a number of major film and TV productions.

According to The Sun, the cops were called on Thursday night after the trailer for Sheridan on set of new Sky show Rosie Molloy Drops Everything was trashed.

The incident happened in South West London.

An insider told the publication that Sheridan felt personally victimized by the raid.

“It was a very upsetting incident and everyone involved is shocked – but Sheridan is understandably very hurt,” the source said.

“Luckily they weren’t hugely expensive items, more like everyday things, but she had left them in her trailer for safety while filming the character and returned to find the place had been flipped. .

“It’s absolutely shameful that these people do this,” they added.

Following the incident, a Met Police spokesperson told the Mirror: “Police are investigating the theft of jewellery.

“The breach happened at around 11.50pm on Thursday May 5. Jewelery was stolen from trailers parked on Hollyfield Road, King Charles Centre, Surbiton.

“There have been no arrests. Investigations are continuing.”

Sheridan’s new show sees the actress take on the lead role of Rosie’s character.

The troubled character suffers from anxiety and depression and tries his best to free himself from addictions to alcohol, drugs and sex.

The highly anticipated series is set to hit screens this winter.

Sheridan also appeared in Gavin and Stacey, The Royle Family and Two Pints ​​of Lager and a Packet of Chips.
