Kelvin Fletcher’s wife has given birth to twins and shared an adorable first photo of the babies on Instagram on Wednesday.

The couple, who have yet to reveal the names of the two newcomers, wrote, “They are here!! My heart is filled with so much love and gratitude.

The couple – who announced they were expecting twins in January – already have two young children, five-year-old Marnie and three-year-old Milo.

Kelvin also shared the same photo and wrote, “A gift from God Welcome to the world my little boys ❤️ #ifyoucouldseemysmile.”

The couple, who recently moved to a farm in the Peak District, were last pictured together at the Olivier Awards on April 10.

Former Emmerdale star Kelvin, 38, and his wife previously said they “felt so lucky” to find out they have two sons.

Addressing Hello! magazine, Kelvin said, “We already have the best of both worlds with Marnie and Milo, so it didn’t bother me anyway, but finding out that we have sons is amazing.

‘It was the best day of my life. It was a moment of utter disbelief. I have never felt joy like this.

Liz said: “I felt every emotion under the sun. First, there are double the worries.

“I thought about things like breastfeeding, how is it possible for two?” How to take two babies at the same time?

“I felt all of this in the space of 30 seconds. Kelvin said it was a miracle, and I was like, ‘How are we going to do this?’ But now we can’t imagine it any other way. We feel so lucky.

Kelvin will star in a National Theater production of Richard Bean’s comedy Jack Absolute Flies Again alongside Caroline Quentin in July.

He said, “It’s the biggest tick as an actor to perform at the National Theatre. I can’t wait to get on stage and play in front of people again.

Rehearsals will begin next month, which Liz says could “bring challenges, play the part, grow and raise a family.” Everything happens.

Revealing the big news, Kelvin admitted the couple “don’t do things by halves”.

BBC Breakfast host Sally Nugent prompted the announcement by asking the couple: ‘You were already very busy, weren’t you, before you started working on a farm, with two young children.’ And you have some news to share with us this morning, which is…’

‘We are going to have two more children!’ Liz springs. Kelvin looked shocked when his wife joked, “You look surprised!”

The former soap star said: “We just recently found out to add another curve ball if you want it.” We don’t really do things by halves and then we found out we had not just one baby, but two!

“So we’re having twins. It was an absolute revelation. So in May, we will deliver lambs for the first time. I’m not going to deliver babies as such, but it’s going to be a very busy time! »

He added: “So yes, we will have four children!”

Kelvin appeared on Emmerdale for over 20 years, playing the character of Andy Sugden until 2016.

The actor then appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, where he wowed fans with his moves after replacing Jamie Laing at the last minute.

He went on to win the Glitterball Trophy with his partner Oti Mabuse, sister of judge Motsi Mabuse.
