FORMER Mr. Universe Calum von Moger fought for his life after jumping out of a window, it has been reported.
The Australian actor and bodybuilder, 31, reportedly dove from a second story window last week, just days after sharing a moving message with his fans.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram last week, he said: “Everyone has a past. We’ve all been through tough times. I admit I screwed up a lot.
“But I don’t care if I dwell on negative thoughts from the past. All I care about is learning from my mistakes and becoming a better person.
“The positive accomplishments I’ve made in my life far outweigh the hiccups I’ve had along the way.
“All I can ask for is your forgiveness so that I can continue on the right path.”
Moger is best known for his portrayal of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 2018 film Bigger.
According to Generation Iron, Moger suffered a serious spinal injury in the fall of May 6 and underwent major surgery.
Bodybuilder and YouTuber Nick Trigilli said the three-time Mr Universe winner was still hospitalized in an induced coma.
Trigilli claimed he was under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident.
Moger, who has 3.2 million Instagram followers, suffered a large number of glass cuts, according to reports.
Trigilli, who runs YouTube channel BodyBuilding & BS, said in his video, “Calum is in a tough spot…Hopefully that’s the bottom line for him and he can get his life back.”
According to reports, Moger was recently kicked out of his family’s home in Australia.
Fans rushed to send messages of support after learning of Moger’s injury.
One said, “I’m praying for you man. You were my first fitness inspiration and I hope you get through these tough times.”
Another said: “Pray for you. Pray for this man everyone.”
Bodybuilder Jason Poston said: “Praying for you big guy…and you know I’m not just saying that.”
