Aston Villa have ‘completed’ Philippe Coutinho transfer

Aston Villa have finalized the permanent signing of Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.

The Brazilian has been on loan at Villa since January, when he returned to the Premier League four years after his £142million move from Liverpool to Barcelona. And reports now claim he will stay at Villa permanently after the club and Barca reach an agreement.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims a ‘total deal’ has been reached and the deal is expected to be announced. Steven Gerrard is said to be a key factor in Coutinho’s decision to commit his future to Villa.
